Indianapolis's Old National Centre erupted on September 5th, 2025, as d4vd brought the Withered 2025 World Tour to the Circle City joined by opener Bryant Barnes.

The Show:

The energy at Old National Centre’s Egyptian Room was truly undeniable. Hours before the show, I was met with long lines that wrapped around the block, filled with fans buzzing with anticipation for the sold-out show. Outside, the chatter and laughter of concertgoers created its own kind of pre-show soundtrack, where you could feel the happiness and excitement building before the doors even opened.

As soon as fans stepped into the Egyptian Room, the energy that had been bubbling outside poured straight into the venue. The ornate, detailed walls and ceilings and the deep blue stage lighting made the space feel ethereal. Every corner of the sold-out room buzzed — groups of friends taking photos near D4vd posters, fans singing along to the pre-show playlists, and superfans gathered to load up on their favorite merch.

When the lights dimmed and d4vd finally appeared, the room erupted. The set seamlessly blended long-time fan favorites like Romantic Homicide and Here With Me with fresh material from his debut album Withered. Each track landed with impact, met by cheers, swaying phone lights, and, of course, word-for-word sing-alongs.
What made the night special was d4vd’s ability to connect. His crowd interaction was effortless, pausing between songs to share stories, thank fans, and even pass out merch and other items. It was a reminder of just how far he’s come — from his humble beginnings recording in a closet to commanding a packed room of devoted listeners. In Indianapolis, his growth as an artist wasn’t just heard, it was felt, and fans won't soon forget it.

Who is d4vd?

d4vd is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Houston, Texas, who first broke into the spotlight in 2022 when his self-recorded single Romantic Homicide went viral on TikTok and climbed the Billboard Hot 100. Known for crafting songs in his sister’s closet with nothing more than an iPhone and the app BandLab, D4vd quickly built a reputation for blending indie rock, R&B, and lo-fi pop into a sound that defies easy categorization.

Signed to Darkroom/Interscope, he’s since released breakout tracks like Here With Me and two acclaimed EPs, Petals to Thorns (2023) and The Lost Petals (2023). In 2025, he’s headlining his ambitious Withered World Tour in support of his debut album Withered, proving he’s evolved from viral newcomer to a genre-blurring artist with staying power.
