The Milwaukee rapper delivered an explosive performance at Paradise Rock Club, blending viral hits, emotional depth, and electrifying stage presence.

(supporting on Eem Triplin’s Memory of a Melody tour)
🎤 Setlist Highlights
Based on setlist trends from the Memory of a Melody & REBIRTH tours, DC The Don’s performance in Boston followed his established support‑set format. The Boston show, like his previous opening slot at Union Stage (June 5), is believed to have included the following tracks:
CAN YOU BREATHE?
GOD LEVEL
FLY ENOUGH TO BE VIRGIL
VENUS
12 AM
SRT
WORST DAY :(
GET NAKED
…with possible additional tracks similar to MR., 4LIFE, or others. At Union Stage, GET NAKED was eighth in the setlist and appears consistently in his support shows.
During the Boston performance, DC The Don performed “GET NAKED”, a track that gained traction as a viral single and prominently samples Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”—a creative fusion that energized the crowd.
🎧 About DC The Don
Daijon Cotty Davis, known as DC The Don, is a Milwaukee-born rapper and singer (born August 3, 1999) who blends hip‑hop, trap, melodic rap and rock elements. Writing songs since age eight and originally playing basketball alongside LaMelo Ball in Chino Hills, CA, he ultimately chose music over sports.
He released his breakout track “Everything 1K” in 2017, featured in Lonzo Ball’s Big Baller Brand campaign which launched his early visibility. After navigating label changes—including a self‑run “FREE DC” campaign—he signed with Rostrum Records in 2020. His debut album Come As You Are arrived that year, followed by My Own Worst Enemy in 2022 and FUNERAL in May 2023—a symbolic rebirth of his artistic identity.
🌟 Performance Review
From my vantage in the crowd—and through the lens of my concert photography—it was clear DC The Don brought unrelenting energy to the stage. Each track carried high‑octane intensity, and the lighting seamlessly amplified it: strobing blasts of neon during aggressive beats, shifting into pulsing ambient washes for mood‑driven melodic moments. In songs like GET NAKED, the beat’s sample of “Hollaback Girl” synced with visual colors that felt both nostalgic and modern.
