Reigning from Stockton, California, rising regional Mexican collective Linea Personal continue their climb as one of música Mexicana’s most thrilling new voices with the release of their fiery new single “FLP” and its accompanying music video, out now via Street Mob Records. Signed under the powerhouse Fuerza Regida—one of the genre’s most influential forces—the group has quickly positioned themselves as a breakout act to watch, already surpassing 262 million global streams and earning co-signs from heavyweights like Fuerza Regida, Clave Especial, and standout collaborations with Calle 24, Armenta, and Juanpa Salazar.
“FLP” arrives as a natural yet elevated successor to the chapter opened by Linea Personal’s viral hit “HOLANDA,” a track that sits at over 63 million Spotify streams and continues to generate massive momentum. Their new release showcases yet another layer of the group’s artistic identity, blending modern energy with deep cultural roots.

A Visual Tribute to Community, Identity & Car Culture

The “FLP” music video—directed by DBM Creatives—spotlights the vibrant, larger-than-life world of Mexican car culture. Through imagery steeped in community pride and flashes of the Mexican flag, the visual highlights the powerful bond shared between Mexican-American youth and the automotive scenes that have long served as hubs of expression, unity, and heritage.

The track itself pays homage to Fine Line Performance, the car club referenced in the title “FLP.” To honor that connection, Linea Personal teamed up with Fine Line Performance for a special November 11th event, fully bringing the visual world of the single to life through a route trek that celebrates both the culture and the people who shape it.

A New Generation of Regional Mexican: Built on Dual Identity

Linea Personal have carved out their own space in the sierreño and regional Mexican landscape by leaning into the influences that raised them in the United States—everything from R&B to country. They cite The Weeknd and Morgan Wallen as key inspirations, merging these threads seamlessly with traditional música Mexicana foundations. Their unique blend resonates powerfully with a growing generation of U.S.-raised Latinos navigating bicultural identities.

Their music reflects a duality: raised in the States, rooted in Mexican heritage. It’s this dual identity—paired with their fierce authenticity—that has allowed the group to connect en masse with listeners who see themselves reflected in Linea Personal’s sound, message, and storytelling.

Proudly Stockton-Born: A Voice From California’s Working-Class Heart

A major component of Linea Personal’s identity is their deep pride in their hometown of Stockton, California. Historically overlooked but culturally rich, Stockton is a working-class, immigrant-built city located in the San Joaquin Valley. The region has long been a cornerstone of California’s agricultural economy, powered by a vibrant community largely composed of Mexican immigrants whose labor sustains produce fields that feed much of the United States.

Linea Personal carry this history with them—its grit, resilience, and cultural significance echoing throughout their art.

A Breakout Live Moment: Debut Performance in Mexico

Continuing their upward trajectory, Linea Personal recently made their live debut in Mexico, performing at the beloved Arre Festival in Monterrey this past weekend. Their electrifying set marked a major milestone and further solidified their fast-growing presence on both sides of the border.

With more releases and performances slated, Linea Personal stand at the cusp of a defining moment in their rising career.

ABOUT LINEA PERSONAL

Founded in Stockton, California by lead vocalist Gustavo Raya, Linea Personal entered the regional Mexican scene in 2022 with their debut single “Seguimos Fijos.” The track captured early attention, leading to a collaboration with Juanpa Salazar on “Salió Cabrón.” Their first project, Euphoria, explored influences from música Mexicana and R&B, showcasing the versatility that would soon become their signature.

In early 2023, the group signed to Street Mob Records, marking the beginning of a new creative era. Their debut album Visión dropped shortly after, breaking into the Top 10 Latin Albums during its release week. Around this time, Aidan Raya joined as second vocalist, further shaping their evolving sound.

October 2024 saw the release of “HOLANDA,” which quickly became one of the group’s biggest hits to date with over 63 million Spotify streams. The group’s distinctive sonic identity has since been shaped by members Edgardo Lozoya (harmonies) and Jorge Ontiveros (requinto), whose contributions helped solidify the collective’s musical fingerprint.
With versatility, freshness, and a clear artistic vision, Linea Personal stand firmly as one of the most promising new acts pushing the future of regional Mexican music.

LINEA PERSONAL ON “FLP”

“With the success of ‘Holanda’ we decided to follow a similar structure for a new song. We were in San Carlos Sonora, Mexico, during a writer’s camp and we, along with one of the Street Mob writers, Naach, began to write the song and we decided to produce it with our singular style and sound.”
